Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising – Vikala is Out in October; Sandalphon Coming in Character Pass 2

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising adds Versusia on August 20th, but fans won’t have to wait too long for the next DLC character. Cygames has confirmed that Vikala will arrive in October. Check out her transformation sequence in the trailer below.

Vikala is a member of the Twelve Divine Generals, with two states – Yin and Yang. The latter is happy-go-lucky and hopeful, while the former is more withdrawn – whether that plays a role in her playstyle remains to be seen. While she’s the final entry in Character Pass 1, Character Pass 2 is in the works. Even better is that it includes Sandalphon, who received a brief teaser. A release window and the number of characters are yet to be confirmed.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Review – The Courage to Defy Power

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is an incredibly interesting game. Continuing on from the Zelda Team’s stated goal of diverging from the standards and tropes that have defined the long-running franchise for so long, it seeks to be a new spin on the 2D Zelda template, not dissimilar to how Breath of the Wild broke the formula that the 3D games had been finding themselves increasingly confined by until then.

That alone merits it a lot of attention, of course, but there’s a lot more here that makes it notable – the big thing is that this is the first mainline Legend of Zelda game that lets you actually play as the eponymous Princess (until now, her playable excursions h…

Rashford issues pre-emptive statement regarding charitable motives: ´Why can´t we just do the right

Marcus Rashford has taken action to pre-empt questions over the motives behind his charitable efforts ahead of the publication of a story alleging he has commercially benefited in the past 18 months.

Manchester United and England striker Rashford became involved in FareShare s drive for donations, food and volunteers during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

As a kid, Rashford s family relied on free school meals and he subsequently used his status and profile to help FareShare distribute the equivalent of over 21 million meals for British children and families who would otherwise struggle.

Rashford s work then helped bring about a U-turn by the United Kingdom s Conservative government over the extension of free school meals for the summer holidays, ensuring 1.3 …

Massimiliano Allegri urges Juventus to secure ‘important’ Champions League spot

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri wants his players to ride an adrenaline wave to Champions League qualification.

The Bianconeri enter their Turin derby against Torino on Saturday sat in third place but knowing that the performance of Serie A sides in Europe this season means that as many as five could qualify for the 2024-25 Champions League.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson sees no reason why club cannot reach Premier League

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson sees no reason why the club cannot reach the Premier League after Luton blazed a trail from non-league to the top tier.

The Welsh side have become one of the most talked about teams in world football since being taken over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney two years ago.

The ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ series has captured the imagination of many, raising the profile of a club that is currently touring the United States fresh from winning the National League.

Reynolds and McElhenney have made no secret of the dream to go all the way up to the Premier League one day – lofty ambitions that boss Parkinson does not believe are unrealistic.

“I think that when you look at teams like Luton who go up, you’ve got to …

Ecuador must improve Copa America image – FA president

Ecuadorian Football Federation president Luis Chiriboga Acosta is imploring his team to improve their poor recent Copa America record.

Gustavo Quinteros men head to Chile having not reached the quarter-finals of the continental tournament since 1997, bowing out in the first stage in five straight events.

Ecuador, who will compete in Group A alongside hosts Chile, Mexico and Bolivia, are without Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia and Emelec s Angel Mena for the showpiece.

But Acosta said it was time Ecuador stood up at the Copa, after limp showings of late.

Ecuador finished bottom of their group in 1999, 2004, 2007 and 2011, while they also failed to go beyond the group stages in 2001 winning just one of 15 matches in five tournaments.

´Any slip-ups will be costly´ – Alexander-Arnold´s never known a tighter title race

Trent Alexander-Arnold has never experienced a more intense Premier League title race than the one this season despite only being 13 games into 2021-22.

Chelsea lead defending champions Manchester City by one point, with third-placed Liverpool just two off Thomas Tuchel s Champions League winners.

All three teams will be in action on Wednesday, with Chelsea at Watford and Manchester City visiting Aston Villa, while the Reds make the short trip to Everton for the Merseyside derby.

Liverpool may be unbeaten in their last 10 top-flight visits to Goodison Park, but Alexander-Arnold appreciates his side cannot afford to relinquish ground on the top two.

Asked whether he had experienced a more competitive title race, the right-back told Liverpool s website: No,…

Barcelona reportedly agree deal for Jose Angel Pozo

Spanish radio Onda Cero is reporting that Barcelona have agreed a shock deal for Almeria forward Jose Angel Pozo.

The Catalans reportedly had a €3 million bid accepted, and the transfer should be wrapped up in the coming days.

Bar any surprises, Pozo will initially be added to the Barcelona B squad, where he will get a chance to prove he deserves an opportunity in the first team.

Jose Angel Pozo had come through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, and he eventually joined Man City in a £2.4 million deal as a 15-year-old.

After failing to prove his worth in England, the winger signed for Almeria in the summer of 2015 and has since been showing signs of promise.

However, having scored mere 6 goals in 83 second division matches, Pozo will have to imp…
